district schools are now in
session, for the term which will
last until about February 1st.�
Half the schools began Monday last week and
the
remainder began Monday this week.

The teachers will have a
little more than a month of
school before the convening of the annual Teachers� Institute here, which will
be held beginning Aug. 14, concluding the 18th.� Prof. T. C.
Cherry, of Bowling Green, will be
the Instructor at the Institute this year, which assures the teachers of a most
interesting and instructive session, as Prof. Cherry�s ability as a trainer of
teachers has won him an enviable reputation.
