LIBERTY -- Laura Catherine Wesley, 91, of Flower Mound, Texas, died Sunday at 
Medical Center of Lewisville.
Born Sept. 1, 1910, in Walhalla, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Walter 
and Annie Beaty Cowan. She was the widow of Leslie Handsford and Preston Wesley.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Handsford of Flower Mound; two 
stepdaughters, Charleen James of Floyd Knobs, Ind., and June Rodgers of 
Liberty; three stepsons, Melvin Wesley of Lancaster, Carlos Wesley of Liberty 
and Kirby Wesley of Campbellsville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 
18 step grandchildren; 25 step great-grandchildren; and three step great-great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Paul Wesley.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. C.B. 
Carman. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
