Effie J. Tuttle Snyder,81, of Hillcrest Ave. Lancaster, died Monday, March 
3,2003 at U.K. Medical Center,Lexington. Born July 11,1921 in Knox Co., she 
was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Foley Tuttle.  She was a 
homemaker,member of the Garrard Co. Historical Society, and member of the 
Bethel Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years.  
Survivors include one daughter, Ann (Tommy)West, Lancaster, one son Johnny 
(Patsy) Snyder, Lancaster, an aunt,Flossie Tuttle of Lancaster, one grandson, 
Ricky Sparks,Lancaster, three grandaughters, Debbie (Caywood)Morris, Susan 
(Brandon)Conley, and Michele (David)Morgan, all of Lancaster, three great-
grandchildren; Devin and Payton Conley, and Dalton Morris.  Preceded in death 
by husband, J.C. Snyder.  Services 2:00 P.M. Thursday (March 6,2003) at Ramsey 
Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Dale Ballinger, Rev. Barry Jefferies, and 
Steve Horn.  Burial In Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers: E.J.Hasty, Bobby 
Durham, Clyde Sherrow, Dwight May, Curt and Jerry Carrier. Honorary bearers: 
Ladies S.S.class of Bethel Christian Church and Pat Ballard.
