                SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. NEWTON

        Mrs. Oma Frances Newton, 77  year old resident of Route 3 Sebree,
died Thursday afternoon July 14 at Methodist Hospital Henderson. She had
been in declining for several months.
        She was a member of the Onton Methodist church and a 50 year member 
of Lora Bryant Western Star Chapter in Onton.
        Survivers is one daughter Mrs. Lois Trice one son Aubret Newton 
both of Route 3 Sebree, one sister Mrs. Alice Ray of Evansville; three 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
        Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Onton 
Methodist Church with Rev. Leslie Chapman officating assisted by Rev. C  
W Simpson. Interment was in Onton Cemetery with Lora Bryant Western 
Star Chapter in charge.
        Pallbearers were: Allen Newton, Mahom Cottingham, Dandridge Hall, 
Julis Ray, W B Hall and Butch Hall.
