He was born in Four Mile on December 17, 1922 the son of the late George L. and Fannie Walker Hendrickson. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church and was a former Deacon. He was a Kentucky Colonel and had been the General Manager for Delaware Powder Company for 33 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Hendrickson, sister, Ethel Carney and brother, Finley Hendrickson. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Young Hendrickson; children, JoAnn and Gary Carnes and George Gary and Joann Hendrickson; grandchildren, Lisa and Curtis Pingleton, Amy Hendrickson and Chris and Kim Carnes; great- grandchildren, Carlee Pingleton, Lynsie Pingleton, Mary Elizabeth Ellison and Blake Carnes; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Ralph Hacker, special friends, Clyde and Anida Souleyrette; a niece and three nephews. Services will be at 11 AM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Charles F. Jones. Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middleboro. Pallbearers will be Mike Sporles, Chris Carnes, Gary Brooks, Greg Hendrickson, George Michael Hacker and Johnny Sporles. Arrangements were by Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
