FRED GOINS
 
    Fred A. Goins, 60, of Jenson Hollow, passed away on Monday, October 13, 
2003 at his home.  He was born in Kettle Island on May 14, 1943 to the late 
John M. and Myrtle Hardy Goins.  He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had 
been a check and repairman at Cincinnati Mine Machinery.
    Survivors include his wife, Karen Philpot Goins, children, Michelle and 
Terry Beyersdorff, Timothy A. and Lana Goins, Johnny M. and Jessica Goins; 
grandchildren, T.J., Justin, Nicholas, Dakota, Tessa, Ryan, Codie and Kaylin; 
sisters and brothers, Lydialee Garrison, John M. Goins, Betty Ann Harrington, 
Clinton Goins and Larry Goins, mother-in-law, Marjorie Philpot and a host of 
nieces and nephews.
    Services were Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. 
Jerry Philpot and Rev. Rick Johnson.  Music was by Evelyn Raby, Savella 
Gilbert and Euline Dozier.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Goins 
Family.
