Mrs. Nora Noe Gentry, age fifty three years, wife of Ed Gentry, died at her 
home near Hodgenville at 1:00 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Gentry suffered a paralytic 
stroke while gathering cherries and died about a half an hour later.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two son's Otis and Howard Gentry, both 
near Hodgenville; and six daughters, Mrs. Omer Price and Mrs. Henry Vernon, 
both of Athertonville; Mrs. Ford Crady, Misses Edna and Thelma Sue Gentry, 
White City, and Miss Virginia Gentry, of Madisonville, Kentucky.
Her parents Mr. and Mrs. C.M Noe,of Green county, eight sisters Mesdames W.J. 
Crabtree, Hodgenville; Sam Aiken, Magnolia; Geo. Benningfield, MT. Sherman; 
Albert Crabtree, Greensburg, C. Warren, Kate Marcum, H.E. Kessler, all of 
Creal, KY.; W.C. Larrimore of Gabe, and two brothers Victor Noe, of Creal, and 
John Noe, of Catton.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church this 
afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R.B. Cundiff. Burial 
will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
