Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Sherman Wayne Dowell, age 56 of Hardinsburg,KY died Tuesday, 4-1-2008 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg,KY on 2-15-1952, the son of the late Sherman and Lucille Canary Dowell. He was a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church, a truck driver who enjoyed hunting, playing cards and watching TV. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.
 
Preceded in death by 2 sisters: Linda Severs and Diane
 
Wayne is survived by his wife - Jo Dowell
3 children: Chelsea and Michael Dowell of Hardinsburg,KY   David Dowell of 
Morgantown,KY
2 sisters: Mary Rose Compton of Leitchfield,KY and Virginia Baker of Kirk,KY
6 grandchildren: Sonja, Selina, River, RainaMae, Remington, Raddison Dowell
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 4-4-2008 at 11AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Haynes, Mike Akridge and Doug Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Union Star Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8PM and after 8:30AM Friday. 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Wayne Dowell Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
