Leonard Miles Coakley, 80, Louisville, died at 7:40 pm Fri 20 Oct [1961] at
the Methodist Evangelical Hospital, Louisville. He was a son of the late
James Robert and Nannie Dearen Coakley and was born in Green Co. He was a
member of the Pleasant Valley Church in Green Co. Surviving are his wife,
Mrs. Florence Williams Coakley; 2 sons, Thomas C. Coakley; 2 sons, Thomas C.
Coakley and Leonard Coakley, both of Louisville; 3 brothers, Stewart,
Hubert, and Sam Coakley all of Green Co; and 3 grandchildren. Funeral
services were held at 2 pm Mon 23 Oct at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral
Home, Campbellsville , with Rev. Paul Horner officiating. Burial was in
Brookside Cem. Pallbearers were Howard Coakley, William Williams, J.W.
Coakley, Buford Coakley, Harold Coakley and Montley Reeves.
