H. (Eliza) CLAYCOMB, age 83, of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County), died on Thursday, October 12, 1961 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1878 at Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County). She was a daughter of John W. and Susan SQUIRES. She is survived by: her husband, Mr. Charles H. CLAYCOMB one step-son: Percy CLAYCOMB of Webster, Ky (Breckinridge County) one step-daughter: Mrs. Toby MORRIS of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Oklahoma County) five nieces: Mrs. Eloise ASHCRAFT of Cloverport, Ky Mrs. Wesley GREGORY of Louisville, Ky Mrs. Robert RILEY of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County) Mrs. Waymon BOLING of Vine Grove, Ky (Hardin County) Mrs. Gordon SMITH of Bowling Green, Ky (Warren County) one nephew: Raymond SQUIRES of Oak Park, Illinois (Cook County) The funeral was held on Sunday, October 15, 1961 from the Grant Memorial Methodist Church in Cloverport, of which she was a member, and burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Hardinsburg. I did find Eliza's husband and his first wife, and Eliza's parents' burials in Volume 1, cemetery book: Cedar Hill Cemetery, located high on a hill overlooking the town of Irvington, Ky.
