Marvin M. Branham

Marvin M. Branham, 74, 714 S St., Bedford, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday at
Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford.

Born in Medcalf County, Ky., he was the son of James Oscar and Letha
(Farley) Branham. He married Allene E. Denney on Aug. 19, 1946, and she
survives.

He retired in 1984 from Coastal Tank Lines, Madison. He was of Baptist
faith and a member of the Teamsters Union until retirement.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Allene Branham of Bedford, are two sons:
Donald and Wallace Branham, both of Bedford; two daughters: Geneva Roark of
Bedford and Marlene Hendershot of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, seven
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Harlin and Carlos
Branham; and three sisters: Lucille Ferguson, Dorothy Myers and Ruby Shaw.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Day & Carter Mortuary, Bedford, with
Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery,
Bedford.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
