LIBERTY -- Mary Helen Emerson, 81, of Lancaster, formerly of Liberty, 
died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. 

Born Oct. 8, 1920, in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late 
Calvin and Lewellen Chandler Jones. She was a homemaker and the widow 
of Sherman Emerson.

Survivors include three stepsons, Rollin, Gene and Rex Emerson; three 
stepdaughters, Vatus Gibson, Lois Wells and Jewell Smith. 

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Whited Cemetery by Clifford Dehart. 

There will be no visitation. 

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
