| THELMA ELIZABETH SLUSHER ALEO, 89, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 4, 1999. She was born on March 16, 1909, in Flat Lick to Thomas and Lula Peace Slusher. As a small child, after the death of her parents, Thelma was adopted by her step-mother and step-father, Bettie Morgan Slusher Carnes and Sol Carnes. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9 in the Chapel of the Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home with the Rev. M. Eugene Vickrey officiating. Burial followed at the Forest Park Lawn-dale Cemetery. This is a courtesy announcement from the Knox Funeral Home. |
