Mrs. Alice Mae Brown, 70, of Barbourville, a daughter of the late Joe and Dicie Bailey Honeycutt, passed away at her home on Monday, March 17, 2003. She was a member of Boone Heights Holiness Church and a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Brown preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacqeline Jordan and husband Anderson of Bimble, Debbie Sue Brown of Barbourville; four sons, James Charles Brown and wife Mary of Swan Pond, Robert Dewayne Brown and wife Marylyn of Artemus, Dillard Brown of Boone Height and David Glen Brown and wife Axie, also of Boone Height; two sisters, Cordia Garland and husband Robert of Chicago, Ill. and Marie Gray and husband Clyde of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Friday, March 21 with the Rev. Fred Disney Jr., the Rev. Bobby Lawson and the Rev. Leslie Broughton officiating. Burial was in Scalf Cemetery at Turkey Creek. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
