Jerry Broughton Mr. Jerry Broughton, 58, of Gray, a son of the late Leslie and Hazel (Sizemore) Broughton, passed away Monday, April 21, 2003 in Knox County Hospital. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a former employee of American Greeting Corporation. He is survived by his wife Mavin (Kathy) Broughton of Gray; his son, Joseph Leslie Broughton and wife Rose of Knoxville, Tenn; one granddaughter; three sisters, Bernice Rose and husband Johnny of Bailey Switch, Mamie Branstutter and husband Roy of Barbourville, Donna Garland and husband Jerry of Cannon; one brother, Benny Ray Broughton and wife Rosa of Barbourville; a sister-in-law, Jill Bunch Scott. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 with the Revs. Michael Medlock and Garrett Garland officiating. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
