| M.F. BROOKS, 76, of Girdler passed away Sunday, February 27, 2000 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the husband of Alma Jones (Gibson) Brooks and the son of the late John Brooks and Cancis (Nixon) Brooks. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife Alma Jean Brooks of Girdler. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed. Wayne Gibson and the Rev. Owen Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Gilbert Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
