J.P. BRANUM, 76, of Bryants Store, passed away Sunday, September 19, 1999 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was the son of late Arthur and Lou Verna Partin Branum born on August 24, 1923 at Bryants Store. He was a retired farmer. He united in marriage with Betty Williams. Funeral services were conducted at the Little Poplar Creek Baptist Church Wednesday, September 22 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Terry Broughton and the Rev. Jeffrey Branum officiating. He was laid to rest in the Ketchen Cemetery at Bryants Store. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

BARBOURVILLE -- J.P. BRANUM 76, Bryants Store, retired farmer, widower of Betty Williams Branum, died Sunday. Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Little Poplar Baptist Church, Bryants Store. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today, Knox Funeral Home.
