
| JAMES M. BOLTON, 74, of Walker Park Road, Barbourville, passed away Monday evening, May 6, 2002 in the Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Alford G. and Retta Regina Lambert Bolton, born on November 2, 1927 in Knox County. He was a retired construction supervisor from Treadway Brothers in Barbourville. On August 6, 1968, he united in marriage with Sallie Warren Peters in Tazewell, Tenn. He was survived by his wife, Sallie Warren Peters Bolton of Barbourville; nine stepchildren, Alma Smith of Barbourville, Maudean Smith of Union, Cecil Peters of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ann Mills and Sue Bright of Dewitt, Janice Bruner of Maynardville, Tenn., and Tammy Richmond of Barbourville; two sisters, Virginia Bolton and Billie Bolton of Barbourville; and grandchildren, great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of Knox Funeral Home Thursday, May 9, with the Rev. Rollin Bradshaw and the Rev. David Shelton officiating. Mr. Bolton was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetary. Arrangements were under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home. |
