| Rev. CHARLES EVERETT BAYS, 75, of Science Hill, formerly of Knox County, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 1999 in Science Hill. He was the son of late Leonard Bays and Ada Philpot Bays born to them on August 15, 1923 at Ingram and the wife of Telitha "Tillie" Mae Godbey Bays. He was retired from the Formica Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral services were held at Glenwood Baptist Church at Eubank on Saturday, May 8 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Grammer and the Rev. Roger Grammer officiating. Burial followed in the Glenwood Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill was in charge of arrangements.
