Margie Lay Barrett, 84, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Wofford, widow of David W. Barrett, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 in the Hospice of Dayton. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Knox Funeral Home.

Margie Lay Barrett

Margie Lay Barrett, 84, of Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Willie Amos and Nannie Gibson Lay, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 in the Hospice of Dayton. She was a member of the Church of God in War, West Va. Her husband, David W. Barrett, preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Troy David Barrett; one sister, Alma Walker; three brothers, James Lay, Roy Lay and wife Pauline and Troy Lay. Services were conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Nov. 22 with the Rev. Sylvester Dunn officiating. Burial was in the Jesse McClelland and Mary E. Davis Cemetery at Poplar Creek. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home.
