LORENE BARNETT Lorene Barnett, 78, of Barbourville, widow of Gillas Barnett, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Evan McNamara and Linda Abner McNamara. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former telephone operator and a nurse. She is survived by one son, Doug Barnett and wife Nancy; two daughters, Linda Powell and husband Terry, Beverly Barrett Kline and husband Bill; two granddaughters; one brother-in-law, Finley Barnett and wife Grace. Services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 15 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Shane Nickell and Bobby Lawson officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
