Mrs. Pearl Lee Peters Baker, 95, of Barbourville, Ky, wife of the late Bob Baker, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Elbert and Ollie Maxwell Peters. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Elvis Owens of Barbourville, Lincoln Owens of Georgetown and Carl Owens and wife Eva of Michigan; one sister, Ocie Nichols and husband Fred of Barbourville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Peters and Sallie Bolton.

Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Jan. 30 with the Rev. Donnie Broughton and the Rev. Ralph Neal officiating. Burial was in Warren Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
