Ellar M. Baird, 86, LaFollette, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at her home. Survivors include three sons, Don Baird of East Wenatchee, Washington, Paul Baird and wife, Juanita of LaFollette, Tennessee, Clifford Glenn and wife, Robin of LaFollette, Tennessee; six daughters, Clara Ayers of LaFollette, Tennessee, Aileen Bruce and husband, James of Peshastin, Washington, Rose Bruce and husband, Rev. Delmus of Pioneer, Tennessee, Sylvia "Sib" McCullah and husband, Rev. Jerome of Williamsburg, Mary Ellen Douglas and husband, Carl of LaFollette, Tennessee and Margie Walden and husband, Roger of Pioneer, Tennessee; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Luther Baird; two sons, Delmas and Carl Baird; her parents, James and Ruthie Ayers; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 19 at the Martin Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in LaFollette, Tennessee with Rev. Jerome McCullah and Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating.
