Bernard WHITTEN Bernard Whitten, 60, of Mt. Eden, formerly of Knox County, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 in Shelbyville. He was a son of Charles William Whitten and the late Virginia Ann Foxx Shaw. He attended the New Hope Baptist Church in Shelbyville. He is survived by his father, Charles William Whitten; one brother, Curtis Ray Whitten and wife Tereasa; two sisters, Glenda Jones and Barbara Waits and husband Darrell. Services were conducted in Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville Tuesday with the Rev. Don Waterfill officiating. Burial was in Mt. Eden Cemetery in Hawesville.
