| Robert Walker, 90, of Dewitt, the husband of Ann Walker, was born in Knox County on May 24, 1909 to the late Will Walker and the late Elon Baker Walker and passed away Saturday, February 26, 2000 in the Knox County Hospital. On December 26, 1952 he was united in marriage to Ann Barrett Walker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ann Walker of Dewitt. Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 28 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Morris, the Rev. Owen Smith and the Rev. A.Y. Mills officiating. Burial followed in the Robert Walker Cemetery at Dewitt. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
