Roger VERSTRAETE� Roger Verstraete, 91, of Bimble, formerly of Belgium, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2006 at his home. He was a son of the late Edmond and Augusta Lycke Verstraete and the husband of the late Clothild Verstraete. He was a civil engineer and an artist. He is survived by two daughters, Viviann Smith and husband Gerald and Bernice Lawson and husband Claude; one brother, George Verstraete and wife Paula; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday, May 8 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. B.F. Jackson officiating. Burial was Tuesday in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
