Mr. Lloyd Townsley, 57, of Bimble, Ky., a son of the late Dee and Mary Newman Townsley, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 in Knox County Hospital. He was a member of the Boone Height Holiness Church and a retired coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Doris Townsley, Bimble; one daughter, Carla Townsley, Lexington; one stepdaughter, Melissa Dugger and husband Gary, Gray; two stepsons, Curtis Blevins and Matthew Blevins and wife Holly, Gray; two sisters, Vivian Smith and husband Denver, Barbourville and Barbara Hinkle and husband Ernest, Barbourville; two brothers, Frank Townsley and wife Lorraine, Bimble, and Edward Mills and wife Brenda, Corbin; four step grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 with the Rev. Charles Eversole and the Rev. Lonnie Lawson officiating. Burial was in Newman Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
