Estil SWAFFORD Mr. Estil Swafford, 78, of Girdler, the widower of Vergie Smith Swafford, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Knox County Hospital Long-Term Care Unit. He was a son of the late Radford and Katherine Smith Swafford born on April 26, 1928 in Clay County. His funeral service was conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, November 4 at 11 A.M. Mr. Swafford was laid to rest in the Nan Riley Cemetery at Woollum. Arrangements were under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home. |
