| POLLY SMITH STEWART, 66, of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 17, 1999 at the Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Enoch A. and Bessie Long Smith born on September 3, 1932 in Knox County. Mrs. Stewart was the owner of Polly's Florist. On April 14, 1956, she united in marriage with Lawrence Stewart Jr. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home on Saturday, March 20 at 2 p.m with the Rev. Charles Douglas, Rev. John Gibbons and Rev. M.A. Reese officiating. She was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may go to the First Baptist Church of Barbourville, the Roadside Baptist Church at Boone Heights or the American Lung Association in loving memory of Mrs. Stewart. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
