Eliza Stewart (June 27, 1920 - September 22, 2007)

Eliza Stewart, age 87 of Davisburg, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 in the Davisburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Seitz and Dr. Harry Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Acacia Park Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Monday, 2:00pm until 9:00pm on Tuesday. There will be an Eastern Star Memorial service on Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Dryer Funeral Home. Mrs. Stewart was born in Girdler, Kentucky on June 27, 1920 to the late John and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Barnes) Messer. She was a member of the Shalom Baptist Church of Orion, and was a member of the Austin-Electa Chapter #396 O.E.S. She is survived by three children, Frances Carnes of Kinross, Oscar Stewart and wife Geraldine of Pinckney, and Sherry McLaughlin and husband Timothy of Davisburg. Her Grandchildren, Marlene Boone, John Carnes, Kimberly Kozarian, Donna Reid, Travis McLaughlin, and Dillon McLaughlin. Sixteen Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John C.Stewart"the egg man" and her Grandchildren, Darlene Zaborowske and Dawn DeCare.
