Rupert J. SPILLMAN Rupert J. Spillman Jr., 90, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2006 in the Roane Medical Center in Harriman, Tenn. He was a son of the late Rupert J. Spillman and Lula Whiting Spillman. His wife, Paris Gross Spillman, preceded him death. He was a member of the Trenton Street Baptist Church in Harriman. He was a retired payroll administrator for the TVA and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by one son, Michael Day Spillman and wife Lisa; three grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Forrester. Graveside services were conducted in the Barbourville Cemetery Monday, Feb. 8 with members of the VFW Post 1410 of Corbin conducting the military rites. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
