Bertha HARDY SMOCK Bertha Hardy Smock, 86, formerly of Knox County, passed away in the Stanford House Nursing Home May 7, 2006. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin �B.J.� and Julia Epperson Hardy. She retired from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center as a nurse�s aide after 40 years. She was a member of the First Church of god in Harrodsburg. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Smock; and five grandchildren. Services were conducted Friday, May 19 in the Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery. This has been a courtesy of Hampton Funeral Home |
