Mattie Lou SMITH Mattie Lou Smith, 81, of Cannon, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Bob Smith and Matilda Jane Sheppard Smith. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple in Canton, Mich. She made her home with her dear friends Marie and Tom Jordan for many years. She is survived by one brother, David F. Smith and wife Joann; her friend Marie Jordan with whom she made her home with, Lola and James Gaddis, Harold and Joetta Jordan, Casey Jordan and wife Misty and other loved ones who mourn her passing. Graveside services were conducted at the Calvin Jordan Cemetery at Woollum, Wednesday, Feb. 1 with the Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
