Homer SMITH Homer Smith, 81, of Barbourville, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Barbourville Nursing Home. He was a son of the late Millard Smith and Belle Price Smith. His wife, Beatrice Johnson Smith, preceded him in death. He attended New Bethel Baptist Church and was a crane operator. He is survived by two sons, Wayne E. Smith and Wiley Smith; one sister, Sallie Wombles; one grandson, Chad Smith. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jessie Sweet and Mike Collins officiating. Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery at Jarvis. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
