Calleb SMITH Calleb Smith, 83, of Barbourville, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Beve and Martha Jordan Smith and the widower of Lillie Mae Smith. He was a farmer and a member of Callihan Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.. He is survived by one son, T.J. Smith and wife Kay; three daughters, Stella Martin, Nettie Gayle Davidson and husband Lonnie and Evelyn Smith; and eight grandchildren. Services were conducted Thursday in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jabe Smith and David Broughton officiating. Burial was in Anderson Cemetery at Hammons Fork. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
