| Beve Smith Jr., 74, of Lima, Ohio and formerly of Girdler passed away Thursday, March 14, 2002 in Lima, Ohio. He was the son of the late Beve and Martha Jordan Smith born to them on July 13, 1927 in Knox County. He is survived by his wife, Lena Mason Smith; his four children; his ten grandchildren; his sister, Greenie Rice of Smithville, Tenn. and his Brother, Caleb Smith of Barbourville and a host of others to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Beve Smith Jr. were conducted at the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church in Lafayette, Ohio. On Monday, March 18, 2002. Burial was in Lafayette.
