| MILDRED RADER ROWLAND. Memorial services for Mildred Rader Rowland, 88, formerly of Knox Countywill be conducted from the Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel 1 p.m.Saturday. She died at her residence Tuesday. She received an A.B. Degree from Union College and an M.A. from theUniversity of Kentucky in supervision and administration; followed by attendance at several other colleges including Columbia University for additional work in related fields. She was a member of the Harlan United Methodist Church, and served as an alternate teacher for the adult women's class in past years. She was the daughter of the late Ott and Viola McGinnis Rader, widow of Fount F. Rowland Jr. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Harlan United Methodist Church. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. |
