Brian Trent Powers, 33, Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Damon and Alene Powers of Knoxville, Tennessee; his mother, Barbara Leach of Jellico, Tennessee; three children, Sherrick Trent Smith of Williamsburg, Alyssa Robinson, Kayla Lynn Lawson of Williamsburg; four sisters, Tamara Silcox and husband, Patrick of Dayton, Ohio, Melody Harmon and husband, Paul of LaFollette, Tennessee, Christal Powers of Jellico, Tennessee, and Jaclyn Cox and husband, Charles of Jellico, Tennessee; seven brothers, Alan Powers and wife, Renata of Williamsburg, Joey Powers of Williamsburg, Trevor Powers of Williamsburg, Kevin Powers and wife, Melissa of Williamsburg, Derrick Powers of Jellico, Tennessee, James Leach of Jellico, Tennessee and Phillip Leach of Jellico, Tennessee; one half-sister, Rhonda Foley and husband, Gary of Pleasant View; one step-sister, Marsha Camp and husband, Garry of Plano, Texas; his grandparents, Ollie Mae Anderson Spivey and husband, Arnold of Williamsburg; a special friend, Shelby Hill of Williamsburg; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 27 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Powers and Rev. Bart Powers officiating. Burial was in the Whitley Memorial Gardens. Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
