SHELIA RENEE POWELL, 33, Lake City, Tennessee, formerly of Flat Creek, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2002 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Survivors include one daughter, Robin Lawson of Barbourville; her parents, Billy and Shirley Powell of LaFollette, Tennessee; one sister, Tina Grubb of LaFollette, Tennessee; one brother, Billy John Powell of LaFollette, Tennessee; grandmothers, Catherine Bowles of Ludlow and Lola Powell Hall of Williamsburg; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lawson. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 21 at the Roach Mortuary in LaFollette, Tennessee with Rev. Don Reynolds officiating.
