| GARRETT POWELL, 74, of Barbourville, was born on August 1, 1924 and passed away Saturday, March 20, 1999 at his residence. He was the son of the late Walter Powell Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Click Powell. He was the husband of Creatrice Martin Powell of Barbourville He was the owner of the Garrett Powell Construction Company. Funeral services were held in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 23 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Mooneyham, the Rev. Leslie Broughton and the Rev. Troy Young officiating. Burial followed in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
