| NEED POTTER, Sr., 81, of Barbourville, was born on February 9, 1919 at Swan Pond, died Friday, March 10, 2000 in the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro. He was a son of the late Mack Potter and Eliza Hampton Potter. In the year of 1941, he united in marriage with Ellen Smith. Survivors include his wife of over 59 years, Ellen Smith Potter of Barbourville. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Denvil Taylor and the Rev. Mike Helton officiating. Burial followed in the Smith Cemetery in Barbourville. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
