Meadie B. Licklitter Poindexter, 93, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Knox County, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late William and Abigale Smith Licklitter. She was a member of the Dayton Gospel Temple. She is survived by four sons, Darius C. Poindexter of Huber Heights, Ohio and formerly of Corbin, Jason T. Poindexter of Dayton, Arthur C. Poindexter of Troy, Ohio and Randald D. Poindexter of Kettering, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren. Services were conducted Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 at the Meyer-Boehmer & Feucht Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with Pastor Timothy A. Hume officiating. Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 at Barbourville Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. |
