Bertha Prichard Payne, 72, of Bryants Store, passed away Tuesday morning, March 7, 2006 in Pineville Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Willie and Sarah Ellen Messer Prichard. She was the office manager for United Curbing Company, Inc. and a member of East Barbourville Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Moss Payne; her son, Garry M. Payne and wife Lisa; three sisters, Virgie Prichard Bennett and husband Melvin, Geneva Prichard Miracle and husband Harold and Doris Prichard Ferguson and husband Roy. Services were conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Friday, March 10, 2006 with the Revs. James Vandy and John Payne officiating. Burial was in the W.& E. Prichard Cemetery ay Bryants Store. Expressions of sympathy may go to the East Barbourville Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Payne. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
