Ova Ed Parker, 87, Homosassa, Florida, formerly of Gray, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2003 in Brooksville, Florida.

He was born August 18, 1915 at Gray, the son of the late Samuel and Kitty Johnson Parker. For many years he lived in Michigan where he belonged to the Masonic Lodge in Allen Park.

Survivors include four sisters, Kotha Lynch of Elkhart, Indiana, Merle Black of Largo, Florida, Margie Sullivan of Cropwell, Alabama, and Jacqueline Schauert of Homosassa, Florida; one niece, Suzie Peace of Homosassa, Florida; five nephews, Sammie Lynch of Elkhart, Indiana, Dennis Sullivan of Birmingham, Alabama, Marvin Sullivan, Michael Peace of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Bill Black of Seminole, Florida.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 28 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial was in the Farris Cemetery at Gray.

O'Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
