Janice Lawson Davenport Napier, 58, Beattyville, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2002 at her home. Survivors include her husband, Emil "Brother" Napier of Beattyville; one daughter, Vickie Cunningham of Winchester; two grandsons, Matthew Cunningham of Winchester and Drew Cunningham of Winchester; three sisters, Betty Shelly Pratt of Williamsburg, Mary Hyden of Lexington, and Kim Colter of Knoxville, Tennessee; one brother, Tommy Lawson of Corbin; as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, July 23 at the Napier Cemetery in Beattyville with Rev. Richard Adams officiating. Burial was in the Napier Cemetery in Beattyville.
