| GENE B. MESSER, 57, of Himyar, passed away Monday, September 6, 1999 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late George and Lula Bailey Messer. He was the husband of Peggy Joanna Hatfield Messer of Himyar. Funeral services were conducted in the Free Spirit Holiness Church at Artemus on Thursday, September 9 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roger Hatfield and the Rev. Johnny Fisher officiating. Burial followed in the Lay Cemetery at Little Poplar Creek. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements |
