Lillian "Daisy" MILLS Mrs. Lillian "Daisy" Mills, age 77, of Barbourville, Ky,. departed this life on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in the Knox County Hospital. She was the widow of Clarence Mills and the daughter of Perry Jackson and Lizzie Lawson Jackson born to them on May 4, 1929 in Knox County, KY. Mrs. Mills was of the holiness faith. Mrs. Mills was a homemaker. Mrs. Mills is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Mills; her parents Perry and Lizzie Jackson; one sister: Etta Marie Martin; and three brothers; Lester, Luther and James Wesley Jackson. Survivors Include: Two daughters: Freda Pridemore and husband Rev. Bennie Pridemore of Artemus, KY., Virginia King and husband Hampton of Artemus, KY.; One Brother: Ralph Jackson and wife Mildred of Corbin, KY. Sister : Ollie McDonald of Cincinnati, OH; Four Grandchildren: Jeff Pridemore and wife Heather of Lexington, Ky., Mark Pridemore and wife Ronda of Corbin, Ky., Jamie Pridemore and wife April also of Corbin, Ky. and Nikki Sizemore and husband Bruce of Corbin, Ky. Seven Great Grandchildren: Aster Mills, Tucker Pridemore, Christina Pridemore, Lotosha Pridemore, Shawn Pridemore, Emily Ann Pridemore, and Max Sizemore; Two Great Great Grandchildren: Megan Mills and Matthew Mills. Mrs. Mills also leaves behind a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Mills were conducted on Friday-October 13, 2006 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Glenn Collins and Rev. Mark Pridemore officiating. Pallbearers were family and friends. Burial followed in the Tuggle Cemetery at Heidrick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. To the Mills family, the staff of the Hampton Funeral Home would like to offer you our heartfelt sympathy during your time of bereavement. |
