MCALLISTER, 65, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday,December 17, 1998 in the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville.A native of Knox County, he was the son of the late Edward and MarthaMcNeil McAllister. He served our country in theUnited States Army during the Korean ConflictA graveside service was conducted in the McNeil Family Cemetery atMackey Bend Saturday, December 19 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Shane Nickell officiating.Jerry Smith Funeral Home of Athens was in charge of arrangements, withKnox Funeral Home assisting with local arrangements. |
