Clifton E. MAYS, Jr. Clifton E. Mays Jr., 68, of Gray, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Oaktree Hospital in Corbin. He was a son of the late Clifton E. Mays and Ottie Beatrice Williams Mays. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church at Bailey Switch and a retiree of Whayne Supply. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Allen Mays; children, Pamela Jeanine Mays Strange and husband Michael, Teresa Lynn Vasos and husband Troy and Steven Allen Mays and wife Tonya; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Clara Terrell and husband Fred, Shirley Smith and husband Lloyd, Georgia Foley and husband Oraldean and Beverly Hyatt and husband Ray. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, May 10 with the Revs. William Wolfe and Hershel Walker officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
