Timothy D. "Tim" Mayne Mr. Timothy D. "Tim" Mayne, 39, of Little Poplar Creek, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2002 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was the son of Thomas Wayne and Eula Jones Mayne, born on November 14, 1962 in Pineville. Tim believed in the Christian faith. He loved animals, especially his many cats. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Caleb and Lula Mahan Jones and his paternal grandparents Thomas Arthur and Rosa Golden Mayne; Four uncles, Vernon Mayne, Fred Jones, C.B. Jones and Donnie Jones. Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Eula Mayne of Little Poplar Creek; several aunts and uncles and a host of cousins who mourn his passing. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, March 22 with Rev. Henry Hall and the Rev. George Peace officiating. Tim was laid to rest in the Jones Family Cemetery at Harps Creek. Casketbearers were family and friends. Honorary bearers were Arlie Mayne, Clarence Jones, H. C. Jones and Danny Jones. Arrangements were under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home. |
